FAQ

Shipping

I can ship to virtually any address in the world.

When you place an order, I will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider of your choice, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for all items I sell are weight and dimension-based. The weight and dimensions of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies I use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Returns & Exchanges Policies

All of the art for sale on this website is guaranteed to meet your satisfaction.

If for whatever reason your are unsatisfied upon receiving your original art, please message me via the Contact The Artist page. Let me know what the issue is, and we can find a solution together.

If you would prefer to exchange your piece of art for another, I am willing to do that. All shipping costs associated with an exchange will be paid by the buyer.

Please note that I do not accept returns.

Additionally, please be aware that the Maple Leiths are large, heavy and easily damaged. Shipping is not cheap, and I don’t pay for exchange shipping charges. There is also the increased chance of damage with the extra shipping of an exchange. Please be certain when you buy a work. The art is depicted as closely and realistically as possible. The listed dimensions are accurate. Take a tape measure and verify that the size of the artwork truly fits into the space where you intend to hang it.

If an exchange is necessary, all works of art must be repackaged in the same materials in which they are received. The packaging I use is to protect the art from damage during transport. Artworks exchanged need to be in excellent condition, as when you received them. I do not accept damaged works of art for exchange due to the buyer’s negligence. Artworks can be easily damage, please take care.

Repairs

I can repair damaged artwork. This does depend on the cause, type and extent of the damage. Not all damage is repairable. If you damage the art or it’s damaged in transit, Contact me and we can discuss the situation and necessary steps. If the item is damaged in transit, there may be a claim to be filed with the delivery company.

If at any point in the future you damage your purchased artwork, I am willing to consider repairing it, at your cost. Contact me if this is the case, and we can discuss the details.

Please note that damage and repair can be time consuming, and are evaluated on a case by case consideration. There are many variables that may be involved in any repair.

Custom Works

Due to the nature of custom works, they're not returnable. Custom works are ordered specifically to the desires of the customer. In order to start any custom work, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is required.

The final price, and timeline for the completion of a custom work will be agreed upon in advance.

After completing a custom work, I look at it for a week or more. This is part of the creative process, as it takes time to decide if the work is truly finished.

As with all of my work, I will guarantee your satisfaction. Through the exchange of photo documentation, we will come to an agreement of the quality and completion of the work before shipping.
